Digital Environment

The first project I under took was recreating the digital enironment scene from the first year. With a better knowledge base of what I can do in Maya and a fuller understanding of producing an effective scene it was a good project to start with for making improvments.

The Original Scene:


This project was influenced the liveing pictures by Gregory Crewdson. This Image was surposed to provke a primale fear of the plant life taking over a modern, civilised, and very human setting.

The improved scene works better to provoke that desired mysterious effect with a more finalised location.

    It's way too dark, it needs another light source. Perhaps a fallen lamp on the floor? Just emitting a beam of light through the darkness, so you can make out some shapes and objects.

    Cheers Jon, it does look a lot darker now that, but I think thats a time thing, it was late when I posted it.
